Itinerary

Day 1-2 - UK - Denver
Your USA holiday starts with a flight from the UK to Denver, on arrival collect your hire car and drive to your hotel. Denver the 'Mile-High-City' lies east of the Rocky Mountains. Explore Larimer Square, the revitalized downtown area with boutiques, restaurants, craft shops and art galleries or visit o­ne of the many museums the city has to offer.
Overnights (2): Denver 

Day 3 - Denver - Black Hills/Mt. Rushmore Area (370 miles)
Cheyenne, the capital of Wyoming is famous for its stockyards and celebration of the Old West during July's frontier days. Fort Laramie Historic Site is worth the side trip.Continue this afternoon to Mt Rushmore.

Day 4 - Black Hills Sightseeing
The Black Hills received their name because of their dark appearance from a distance. The Black Hills are rich in Native American History with civilizations dating back to at least 700BC. The regions highlights include: Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park , Sylvan Lake, The Needles Highway, Deadwood and Spearfish Canyon

Day 5 - Black Hills - Sheridan (220 miles) 
Sheridan sits on the edge of the Bighorn Mountains, once the heart of Indian Country where many Indian Battles were though. On the way to Sheridan take the time to detour to the town of Deadwood, a town still in the turn of the century style. Another short detour will take you Devil's Tower National Monument, the core of an ancient volcano that rises up to 264 metres from a fairly flat surrounding.  The main attraction in Sheridan is the Bradford Brinton Memorial Ranch that recreates early western life.

Day 6 - Sheridan - Cody (200 miles)
Be sure to visit the scenic Shell Canyon o­n your way to Cody, named appropriately after its first important visitor 'Buffalo Bill' Cody and located in a stunning area of Wyoming. Visit the Buffalo Bill Historical Center which offers the best museum collection of Western artifacts and lore in the world.
Overnight(1): Cody 

Day 7-8 - Cody - Yellowstone N.P (100 miles)
After a short drive you will arrive in Yellowstone National Park where you will spend two nights. Enough time to enjoy and explore this amazing park: it preserves the largest concentration of geothermal activity anywhere in the world and it protects enormous herds of bison, elk, and other animals.

Day 9 - Yellowstone NP - Jackson/Grand Teton Village (132 miles) 
A scenic drive south to the 'Grand Teton National Park' with its snow capped mountains, pristine lakes and evergreen forests. Enjoy an evening in Jackson strolling the town square marked by the arch of tangled elk antlers on each corner.

Day 10 - Jackson / Teton Village - Salt Lake City (304 miles)
After a scenic drive you will reach Salt Lake City - the Mormon Capital. Salt Lake lies in a spectacular setting at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains and the Great Salt Lake to the northwest. Visit the Temple Square, the symbolic heart of the Mormon Religion.

Day 11-12 - Salt Lake City - Moab (230 miles)
After a short visit to the Natural Bridges Monument with its unique natural bridges, you will arrive in Moab where you will spend two nights. At the foot of the red mountains, Moab is the starting point for excursions into Canyonlands and Arches National Park.

Day 13 - Moab - Vail (258 miles)
On the way to Vail, visit Glenwood Springs located at the confluence of the Colorado and Fork Rivers. Glenwood Springs is home to the world's largest natural hot spring pools originally used by the Ute Indians.

Day 14 - Vail - Boulder (194 miles)
Enjoy the spectacular scenery as you travel through the Colorado Rockies to Boulder. Your route todays offers the opportunity to visit Estes Park before your arrival in Boulder.

Day 15 - Boulder -UK
Depart for Denver Airport to drop off your hire car and check in for your flight home.

Day 16 - Arrive UK

No arrivals from the 4th to the 13th August due to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in the Black Hills
