Nebraska has three courses ranked on this prestigious list, including the number one course; the Sand Hills Golf Club near Mullen. The Sand Hills is private, but not far away near Gothenburg is the 44th-ranked course, the Wild Horse Golf Club. In Lincoln a private course, Firethorn Golf Club, is ranked at 81.
