Days 1 and 2 – UK to Seattle
Depart the UK on a scheduled Air Canada flight to Seattle. Upon arrival transfer independently to your hotel. Located beautifully between the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific, its skyline is framed by the peak of Mt Rainier and dominated by the Space Needle. Explore famous Pike Place Market, stroll the waterfront or shop at famous-name stores.
Overnights (2): Hotel Mayflower, Seattle

Days 3 and 4 – Seattle - Quinault (153 miles)
Pickup your hire car today and travel west to the Olympic Peninsula, a scenic wilderness area extending from glacier-clad mountains to the ocean shore. Explore one of the largest and most beautiful rain forests in North America.
Overnights (2): Lake Quinault Lodge, Quinault

Day 5 – Quinault - Seaside (136 miles)
Follow the rocky coastal road south and cross the state line from Washington into Oregon, continuing on to the quaint town of Seaside. Enjoy dinner at one of the small, friendly restaurants and maybe take a leisurely stroll along the ocean front boardwalk or the powder white beach.
Overnight: Shilo Inn Oceanfront, Seaside

Day 6 – Seaside - Newport (117 miles)
With stunning coastal views on one side and beautiful landscapes including Siuslaw National Forests on the other, today’s drive is one of scenic splendour. You may wish to stop at some of the towns and villages you pass along the way before arriving in Newport.
Overnight: Elizabeth Street Inn, Newport (Oceanview room)

Days 7 and 8 – Newport - Crater Lake National Park (252 miles)
Cape Perpetua on the edge of Suislaw National Forest is a must see before you leave the coast for Crater Lake National Park at the base of the Cascade Mountain Range. Mazama Lodge, on the southern tip of the park, is a great base to discover this abundantly forested area, rich with wildlife, natural lakes and snow capped mountains.
Overnight: Crater Lake Lodge (Deluxe lakeside room)

Day 9 – Crater Lake - Bend (128 miles)
A short drive today allows plenty of opportunity to stop and explore the magnificent, awe-inspiring scenery of the National Forest areas in central Oregon. Bend is an outdoor recreational playground with plenty of sightseeing.
Overnight: Sunriver Resort, Bend

Days 10 and 11 – Bend - Portland (169 miles)
Although a cosmopolitan city, Portland is renowned for its green environment and courteous welcome. Visit the Museum of Science and History or Portland Zoo, wander amongst the boutiques or take a jet boat excursion down the Willamette River. The choice is fabulous and varied.
Overnights (2): Hilton Portland, Portland

Days 12 and 13 – Portland - Mt Rainier National Park (156 miles)
On the way to Mt Rainier we recommend a fascinating detour to Mount St Helens, whose peak was ripped off by a powerful explosion just two decades ago, and now serves as a striking landmark in the Pacific Northwest. The following day is free to relax in the photogenic surroundings of Mt Rainier National Park.
Overnights (2): Paradise Inn, Mt. Rainer Nat. Park

Day 14 – Mt. Rainier - Seattle (104 miles)
Time to return to Seattle. We suggest a visit to the Boeing factory in nearby Everett or enjoy a final evening dinner at sunset at the top of the Space Needle.
Overnight: Hotel Mayflower, Seattle

Day 15 – Seattle - UK
There is time for some last minute sightseeing before driving to Seattle Airport to return your hire car and check in for your flight back to the UK.
